She's getting so big!!!!

ALY'S NEW BIG GIRL ROOM!!!

Well as you can see we have changed up Aly's room to an offical big girl room. I have recently noticed that Aly wasn't sleeping great at night in her crib and after talking to Shannon I realized that it might be because she sleeps in a full size bed at nap time at her house so maybe she wasn't liking the caged in feeling any more. I was pretty skeptical about moving her to a big bed so early but after talking with a lot of my friends I realized I wasn't the only one. Well dad had this bed room set in his guest room (which actually was Paige's) and he offered to give it to us to get it out of his house. So while we planned on Aly's baby furniture to last her till college we made other plans.

I have to admit I was pretty excited to buy Girl bedding for her room since we went neutral before and i'm in love with the one I found. We did put up 2 bed rails on the side to help prevent her from falling out. Well they didn't completely work her first night in the big girl bed. Those rails are made to fold down so you can make the bed easier. Well when i put it up back up I guess i didn't lock it correctly and at 5:45am on Wednesday morning I heard a "thump" and then screaming through the monitor. I'm guessing she leaned up against it in her sleep and it folded, and she went boom!!! I felt terrible. She seemed to be ok just freaked out.

She had done great in there since then. Yesterday was the real test with napping. If she was going to climb out and play that would of been the time, but she didn't. She seems to be sleeping much better and she doesn't seem to move to much. She's plays for a bit and when I go in there before bed usually everything is thrown all over but she is up at the top laying on Lucy (the lady bug pillow pet) and fast asleep. So it was pretty nerve racking but she seems to be doing well with it!!!

She seems to be getting a few more teeth and is chewing on everything. She has 7 now and i'm sure more on the way. There isn't to much else going on right now. I posted some pictures on another blog from this past month but wanted to wait a bit for the update!!!
