This is how we went to the grocery store last weekend

I can't believe Feb. 2012 is already over. Time is just flying by. We had a great month. Work is still really busy for me, trying to get all our new procedures in place but its all for the good and I'm excited to see where this takes us.

Aly is still in her Gymnastics class and still loving it. We go on Monday nights now. I really enjoy getting to spend that time with her. We did have one crazy night though and I learned the meaning of "i'll take you out of here kicking and screaming" because I did. There is a known rule at the gym that they do no go running across the middle floor. There are older kids there doing their tumbeling and they can't exactly stop for a little one. This has never been a problem for Aly but a few weeks go she took off across the floor. I stopped her and grabbed her arm to tell her that she wasn't aloud to do that and she swong around and hit me. I then took her off the floor and to the side to talk to her and she lost her marbles. She started screaming and going crazy. I took her to the bathroom to calm down and that didn't work either. I went and got our shoes and we went to the car and left Gymnastics early. It took her a good 15 mins in the car to calm down so I could put her in her car seat. It was a rough one but when we got home she was so tired from the fit that I was able to talk to her and make her understand why she was in so much trouble. We took away her TV for the night and the next day and we haven't had that problem since, so hopefully she learned her lesson.

We went to Dad's house a few weekends ago when we got to meet the puppies and Aly played on the swing most of the time. She loves it.

We did get a new fish last week. He is a black gold fish. His name is Georgia. Aly wanted to name him Blue or Yellow but we decided against that, LOL :)

We did have a rough stomach bug in our house last week as well. Shannon texted me Tuesday night and said that Ethan was sick but she would still let me bring Aly on Wednesday and would just keep them apart. I figured that since they were together so much already if she was going to get the bug she probably already did. I read that text at 5:00am and then at 5:30am Aly woke up and was throwing up. JV stayed home with her on Wednesday. He defiantly gets the award for good sport. Aly threw up on him twice through out the day and a few other times on the floor. She seemed to be better by that afternoon and slept really well. She woke up on Thursday and threw up again before she went to Mimi's house but never did again after that. Then on Friday I wasn't feeling well at all and I got sick Friday night right after I got home. I was better by Sat. but just took it easy and was feeling back to my self on Sunday. Hopefully we got that all out of our systems!!!! We did have to miss Asher's 2nd birthday party on that Sunday though :( we didn't want to get anyone else sick.

On another note JV and his family are getting ready to go on their mission trip to the Dominican Republic for a week. They leave next Thursday and return the following Friday (I think). They could definatly use your prayers while they are there. We also are so so blessed for all the generous donations they have received for this trip. It will go to great use!!!
