She escaped after her bath!
This is Maddy's Doll's hat!Hi Everyone! Hope this finds everyone well!!! We are doing great! Aly is still growing like crazy, running, talking and having temper tantrums like she is 2 already! I know most of you already saw the video of the flash cards (if you didn't they are on my facebook page) but everything is still a duck! She is really starting to form phrases and sentences now. This morning she said "hi daddy" so cute!
Aly has 3 teeth now and 1 more defiantly on the way. The top left one came through about 3 weeks ago (around august 5th) and the one next to it is pushing its way through. So now she can bit, and thinks its funny!!!
As you can see we got Aly's hair cut for the first time on the 13th. We went to snip-it's in snellville (which was way over priced) but they just cut her bangs b/c that seems to be what grows the fastest! It was short, maybe 1 min. so she did really good!
Aly loves to run around naked, as you can see! After her bath I have been letting her "escape" and take a lap around the living room. That was until she peed on the floor on Tuesday so it looks like that is over. Good thing was it was on the linoleum by the back door so it wasn't on our new carpet!!! (which is amazing by the way).
Aly is eating mostly table food now. She has her few staples that she loves: waffles, peanut butter and jelly, grilled cheese, etc. the usuals but we are struggling to get her to branch out! I think she is a texture girl and all these different things are not working, so we have a little bit of a challenge on our hands. She doesn't like fruits right now. I think they are to slippery and she can't get them and when she does she would rather play with them then eat them.
There isn't to much going on here right now, things are good and going pretty smoothly. Things are still great with Shannon. Her daughter Morgan started school this year so Aly is short 1 play friend during the day but Ethan keeps her good company. Aly has found a baby doll over there that she loves and carries around all day. I think its safe to say she is going to have a girlie girl side!!!
