Hi, well I went to the dr. today, first of all and most exciting I heard the heart beat, it was going strong, she said that was a happy baby!! We didn't do an ultra sound. Second I have only gained 10 pounds since last time (which puts me at 12 total) thats kinda exciting, I can't believe that b/c I eat a lot!!! I didn't have many questions so it went kinda quick. I'll be going for the big ultra sound on March 2nd so my next visit should be more extensive. The nurse said my BP was a tad higher then last time, but the dr. didn't even mention it so I don't think it was alarming to her or anything.
In the past two days I have really felt a change in the baby's movement. I think on my way home yesterday "it" kicked about 30 times, it was so cool, I was really hungry too, so that could of been part of the reason, And I have felt it several times today. JV hasn't yet, but hopfully soon, they are still pretty light so they should get stronger soon!
My belly is growing every day, I wake up and feel that its bigger every morning!!! I have a feeling its a boy, i'm not sure why but for about 2 weeks now i have really had this strong feeling that its a boy. (I'm a part of this community board for mom's due in July and there is a poll of what people are having and the boys are up about 300 to 250 girls (kinda cool to watch)
Well I think thats about it for now, nothing to crazy but i'll let you know if anything changes. WE ARE 1/2 WAY THERE!!!! I don't know if I said it already but we registered last weekend so thats up at babies r us!!!

Hello!
Hello all, so a few of my friends have these baby blogs and I though it would be a good idea to keep everything in one spot for everyone to see if they wanted. I post my previous e-mails about dr. visits and such and some of the pictures. I will keep things updated on here instead of myspace, facebook and e-mail!!! Just some of my thoughs!!!
I wrote this last week, just some of my thoughts!!!
So I haven't done one of these in a while and just kind of felt like sharing. As many of you know I'm 19 weeks pregnant (I’ll be 19 weeks tomorrow). I have a pregnant belly now, which has strangely emerged in the past few weeks. I'm shocked at how normal I feel about it. I always pictured my self pregnant and thought it would be awkward or weird, but it honestly feels natural. I haven't really felt any distinct kicks, but have defiantly felt some different movements. I think right now the baby is about the size of a bell pepper so it might take a few more weeks to feel something consistently, but I'm so excited for that. I went about 6 weeks feeling kind of weird about it b/c I wasn't sick any more, wasn't feeling the baby move and wasn't really showing (what most people call the "fat" stage, you look a little bigger, but not really pregnant yet, I'm glad that’s over, I had a friend tell me it was like you wanted to wear a sign and say “I’m pregnant not getting fat”) it was a little nerve racking at times after my miscarriage, because I found my self wondering if everything was ok, but as my belly gets bigger I know so does the munchkin, so that’s an amazing feeling. I have always had a different feeling with this one then I did the first one, I guess I kind of knew last time that something wasn’t right. But this time, I found out I was pregnant around an important date and feel like my mom kind of had a hand in this one and is taking special care of it.
I actually was only nauseas for about 4 weeks about week 7-11 which was pretty rough, but looking back wasn't the worst thing in the world. Althought I would like to talk to who ever named it morning sickness, its more like all day sickness. Other then that it hasn't been too bad. I struggle with my sinuses, and not being able to breath at night, but it seems that the baby has pity on me every once in a while and I have an amazing nights sleep to catch up! (like last night) and if that’s the worse thing I have to go through then I’m ok with that!
We have got some things picked out for the nursery like the bedding, the furniture and the wall colors and I’m so excited to get started on that. I love projects like that. As far as food goes I haven’t really had any weird cravings yet. I eat pickles a lot, but if you have known me very long you know that’s not unusual. And I seem to be drawn to Grits. I use to eat them all the time growing up but haven’t in a few years and I like them a lot now (except waffle house’s they are not good). As of my ....last Dr..... visit I have gained 2lbs, which I thought was pretty good, b/c I could have sworn it was more. But I’m pretty sure it will be more when I go back on the 18th.
On March 2nd we have the big ultra sound and get to see all the anatomy of the baby, but since we are not going to find out what it is, we are leaving that part out. JV has always felt that it would be so cool to be able to go out and tell everyone what it is when he or she arrives. I’m getting use to that fact, and actually don’t think it’s a bad idea b/c I’m not very worried about the labor part b/c I really want to know if it’s a boy or girl, so its keeping my mind off of that! Hey, so I just got back from the dr. they can't really see much and she's not completely sure why they had me come in so early,( as she put it, "your like 5 mins pregnant") but they went ahead and tried for the ultrasound but its way to early to see anything, she said she could tell my uturus was preparing but thats all. They did the blood work and made an appt. for nov. 19th to do the ultrasound again, and they want me to go back on sunday to have my blood drawn again to make sure the HCG hormone is doubling, so thats all for now, keep your fingers crossed and in your prayers, please!!!
I asked her to about all the blood that they drew last time (it was like 12 vivals and they only had to do 7 this time b/c some of them were still good from last time) and she said that they always do that much b/c they have such a wide demographic of patients, they test for many other things that most places don't. she swares that the dr. didn't know i was going to miscarry before, Like I thought!!

Hi, so for those who don't know, when I went back to the dr. last sunday to have the blood draw again so they could check and compare my hcg levels we realized that they didn't get the levels on the Friday before, so we had nothing to compare it to. I talked to the dr. yesterday and they wanted me to come back in today so she could check the progress by ultra sound instead of having my arm poked another two times.

so we saw the small sac which she was happy with b/c that means its not eptopic and that was a good thing, so everything looks good right now!!!! we are still going on the 19th and we will do it again, so please keep us in your prayers and we will see you soon!!!!

Hi, so I just got back from the dr. and everything thing looks really good. We were able to see the heart beat and she said it looked really stong. The measurment put me at 6 weeks 4 days which is exactly 1 week off from what I thought but she isn't happy with the picture that her ultra sound machine gave so I am making an appt. to have another scan done in the next few weeks with a better machine to get a better picture so we can get a more accurate date. She seems to agree with me on my calulations about being 7 and 1/2 weeks. so keep the prayers coming they seem to be working. and yesterday and today I have felt like a different person, almost no sickness, which is amazing!!! so hopefully we will know a date soon!!!!

hi, so i went to the dr.appt today, everything looks great! the heart beat was very strong and the little one was jumping all over the screen!!! They have my due date as July 7th!!! so we were pretty close!!!! thanks for your thoughts and prayers!!! i go back on the 17th just for the monthly check up!!!!

All of my vitals looked good too, and I was please to know (and the dr. was too) I have only gained 2 pounds b/c I was certain it was going to be way more then that!!! we are going back at the end of Feb. to do the anatomy ultra sound (not that we will be finding out the sex) to see everything developing!! I haven't really felt any movement that I can be certain is the baby, I have weird, like muscle spasms, but thats about all I have felt so far, but I'm excited about that!
