Gymnastics

So Aly has been doing Gymnastics for the past few weeks and is absolulty loving it!!! We go Sat. mornings for an hour. She is having a great time. Its hard to get pictures because i'm having to help her with everything but I go a few this past week. We did a little bit on the bars and rings and then did an obstical course kind of thing. If you ask her what she learns at "Nastics" as she calls it, she will start jumping up and down and thats all she thinks she learns but its not. She really like the rings and swinging on them and loves walking across the balance beam. I think her favorite thing was the long trampoline, she bounced all the way down and then starts running back to the line.

Its nice for her to be around some other girls too. Since our family's have so many boys she doesn't get a lot of girl time so we are working on it. They have a castle bounce house and I am struggling to make her get in there. I talked her into this past week and she jumped once and freaked out and we got her out. There is a slide in there and before this session is over I will get her down that slide. Me and another mom tried to get her to go with Taylor and go down and she wouldn't do it. Taylor is our little energy, fearless child so we are working on getting her to play with Taylor.

They get 2 stamps after class and its become an issue for washing her feet afterwards because she doesn't want them to go away. I'm going to have JV come one day and take some other pictures so I can share those too!!!

Family Pictures Nov. 6, 2011

We had family pictures done at Tribble Mill Park on Nov. 6 2011. Our photographer Melinda was so great and they turned out so good!!! Here are some of them. I have uploaded all of them to Facebook if you want to see more!!!!

you know Lambie had to make an appearance

JV Went on his first hunting trip this past weekend with my Dad. One of the paint compaines at work put together a few hunts each year and Dad and JV were invited. They went down sat. morning (early) and hunted a morning stand then came out for lunch and then went back and hunted a afternoon stand. They didn't see much so it was pretty uneventful. Probably because of the weather but usually this is a pretty good spot. JV had a good time anyway and got to experience hunting for the first time, so that was cool. He had a good time and wants to again sometime soon!! You know if I had been there we would have all kinds of pictures but that wasn't the case so I currently have no proof. I did tell him I wouldn't mind going again with him sometime so you bet when that happens there will be pictures to follow!!!

Since it was just me and Aly at home Sat. morning we were having a lazy day and hanging out in bed for a little bit. She started singing this song and it took a few minutes to pick up on it but when I did, it was hysterical.

Do you know what that is?????

Yes is it a song by teenage heart throb Justin Beber!!! I really thought I had several years before we got into this stage!!!! I'm guessing it is something that Morgan (Shannon's daughter) taught her. So So Funny!!!!!

Pirate Aly and Spiderman Asher

So cute!!!

Pirate Aly

Batman Alex

We went to the Deegan's house this year for Trick or Treating. Morgan and Ethan taught Aly how to say Trick or Treat during the day so she was all ready to go. Paige made dinner and then we dressed up Pirate Aly, Batman Alex and Spiderman Asher! They were so cute and had a great time too!!!

Corn Dog's 10/30/2011

Aly and Daddy on the slide. She was not a happy girl after that one.

So stinkin cute!!!

We went on our Annual trip to the Corn Dog's corn maze this past Sunday with the Deegan's. Dad and Aunt Cheryl couldn't make it this year :(. They pretty much had all the same stuff as last year but all the kids were old enough to enjoy it a little more. Alex rode on the Cow train again this year and loved it. Aly and JV did the tube slide and Aly was not a fan of that one, but loved the other ones. It was perfect weather and just when it started getting cooler it was time to go. All the kids had a blast and i'm pretty sure the parents did too!!!

Waiting to win so money!

JV and I got the wonderful opportunity to go to Savannah on the 22nd for my cousin Travis's wedding so we decided to make a weekend of it with the Deegans and the whole Stone Crew!!! We had a great time. We dropped Aly off with John and Alice on Thursday night and we headed down. We stayed in a hotel right inside Savannah for the night and then on Friday morning JV and I headed to our Casino boat for a few hours of Gambeling on the boat. There were not a lot of people on board that were playing on the tables so it was JV and I playing roulette for a while by our selfs. Then we moved to the 3 card poker table and had a few people join us and that was a lot of fun. The dealer was able to teach us how to play since there wasn't many people so it was a good time. We went with about $300.00 to gamble with and we only spent $150.00 so we did pretty good. We didn't make anything but didn't lose it all either!! :)

We got back around 5:00 and headed to our hotel in downtown Savannah to get changed for Dinner with Paige and Brandt and Aunt Lane and Uncle Larry. We went to the Pirate house. It was so Yummy. We had planned on doing a walking Ghost tour but we couldn't find the place and we missed it. So us "kids" headed out to check out a few bars and had a great time.

Saturday morning we did a Walking tour of Savannah with Aunt Lane, Paige and Brandt and that was a lot of fun. Out guide was really nice and really knew her history. We rushed back to the hotel to get ready for the wedding. The wedding was in one of the park squares and was really nice. We had the reception at Lady and son's Paula Deans resturant and the food was great! I think the peach cobbler at the end was one of the best that I have had!!! It was a really fun time.

Sat. night we went out again just hanging out with everyone in City Market listening to music and then we walked around for a bit and got a chance to hang out with our cousin Tracy and her boyfriend and some of there friends. Its nice to spend some time away with everyone (with no kids) and then we headed home on Sunday.

We were so ready to see our little girl. We missed her so much. She had a little harder time with us being gone this time. She kept asking Mimi, where we were so we decided it would be best not to call and upset her but that was really hard. We are so so so greatful to John and Alice for keeping her and Laura for taking her for a few hours on Saturday so they could have a break too.

It was such a great weekend and we are so glad we got to go!!!!
