15 months- Fall 2010

Just a quick note. Now that I am done with Aly's 1st year scrapbook, this blog is going to turn into a Manderscheid family blog, as all the blogs will go into a yearly scrapbook about our family!!!! It will still revolve around Princess, b/c our lives now do but i'm going to be throwing in some family stuff too!

Well Aly is 15 months now. We went to the dr. this morning for her 15 month check up and here is the run down: Weight: 23.50lbs (60%) Height: 31" (65%) Head: 18" (43%) . She still only has 4 teeth but I think there are a few more quickly on there way. She got 4 shots this time and 1 pricked toe. We did her first round of her flu shot this time and will get the 2nd in a month or so. Her tubes are still in and look good. She wasn't a happy camper at this visit so there wasn't much talking but Aly is doing great. She's eating good, sleeping great and just growing into this little person.

She is talking a lot, most of it doesn't make sense to us but it does to her. I think she gets frustrated sometimes because she can't make us understand what she wants. She knows and can point to her nose, mouth, ears, eyes, belly button, fingers and toes. She loves to sing her spin with me song in the car. She is still not to into tv yet, but loves the songs on the backyardigians show.
These are my ears!

We had some family pictures done with Whitney again on Oct. 2nd at Whitney's house in Gainesville. She has sent me a few of the pictures and they look awsome, I can't wait to see the rest! We tried to get a few in Aly's Halloween costume, the Lady bug, but she was kind of done by that point (and her wings wouldn't stay on).

We went to the blue ridge mountains with the Deegan's for our annual trip and had a good time. It was a little further of a drive but it was a really nice place. It was a little crazy with all the young-ins but we still had a good time. Aly learned the art of temper tantrums while we were there so that was interesting. They seem to have calmed down a little now.

Even though we are not off to a good start with GA football this year we still have Aly all decked out in her GA gear. She loves her GA dress!!!

Aly also had her 1st run in with the concrete at Ms. Shannon's house. She falls a lot but she is learning how to climb steps and she doesn't get the going down part and she fell outside and got her first face boo boo.

The 1st of many to come!
