24 week visit

Hello people, well I just return from the dr the prenatal check went well, EVERYTHING looks great. The radiologist looked at the ultra sound pictures from the 2nd, and everything looked very normal (they didn't even comment on the big feet), nothing out of place! Since I opted not to have the earlier test done for down syndrome and stuff this made me feel a lot better!!!
She was telling me that I needed to pay attention to my weight, right now its good, b/c i went so long without gaining anything but I need to slow down a bit to avoid any problems during delivery, (by gaining to much you increase your chance of having a C section) or more so trying to lose the weight later. She measured my stomach and its right on target, 25" she said and they want it to be within 2" of your weeks, so despite what the crazy lady told me at work yesterday, I'm not to big!!! My next appt. is April 15th and they will do the Glucose test then. She did listen to the heart beat and it sounded great! I don't ask what the heart rate is b/c then I'm going to start analyzing what that means as far as boy or girl and most the time that doesn't hold true anyway and I will drive my self crazy trying to figure it out!! They didn't even put it in the computer what it was at the last ultra sound, so unless I have another one there is no way of any one slipping up, looks like it is def. going to be a surprise!!!!

well I think I'm finally over this sinus infection, WHOO HOOO, that was not fun and my back is doing a lot better ( I pulled a muscle coughing one night, then did it again even worse sneezing this past sat.)!! I still am afraid to sneeze now, but its much better then this past weekend!!!

So it looks like 111 days to go!!! I have had about 3 dreams in the past 2 weeks and in the dreams it has been a girl, so now I have no idea. And Alex (my nephew, 2yrs) is convinced its a girl, or a gwrl as he puts it!!! so now i have no idea!!! I posted some belly pictures in the previous post if you didn't see them before, its getting bigger and bigger each day!!! I have started feeling stronger kicks up near my ribs, hopefully JV will feel it soon too. We went to see a movie on Sunday and during the action scenes the baby was going crazy, I guess it heard everything, it was pretty cool!

We got our house painted last weekend (big thanks to all that helped you did wonderful it looks great) and they moved the furniture out of the guest room so we can get ready to start painting the babies room in the next few weeks, my goal is to have it done by June, so we have some time, but I'm really excited to do that!! Well I think that's about all for now!!!

Ultra sound pictures 3/2/2009

22 Week Ultra Sound

Hi people, well I just got back to work from the Ultra sound this afternoon. It was pretty cool! and just to answer the question, No JV didn't cave and we still don't know what it is!!! The u/s tech said she knew right away but she didn't tell us or print any pictures that would give it away! She said the baby was 1lb 2oz. which she said was good. She asked if either one of us were tall b/c the baby has long legs. She also printed a picture of the foot, it def. looks like a Jackson, BIG!!!! She looked for about 20mins taking measurments before we saw anything just to make sure she didn't come across anything we didn't want to see!!! She said I'm measuring about 2 days ahead( which puts me on my birthday), so pretty close to right on! Everything looks great and healthy. The baby is apparently all up in my ribs, which is weird b/c everytime I feel it move its very low but the head was on my right side and the butt was on the left but very high. She said they move a lot so you can't really tell to much from that (story goes girls you carry higher and boys lower)! The heart beat was strong and she was pleased with the progress!!! I have several pictures that I will scan in tonight when I get home and post them asap!!! My fav is one of the little one giving us the "peace" sign, it was so funny, she said that they usually keep the hands balled up, but not this one, its ready to show off already!!!!

Well thats about it, i'll post pictures asap. My next apt. is March 18th. I won't have any more ultra sounds unless they feel that something might be wrong, so we are in the home stretch I feel like!!!

I have had a cold creaping up on me the past few days and it has caught up with me so hopefully it will go away soon! And what I think is most shocking is that I can't sleep any more. I was up sat. at 8:30 and Sunday at 9:00, this morning at 7:30 crazy, looks like my days of sleeping till 11:00 are long gone, guess I better get use to it!!! Well i'm at work and water is leaking from the ceiling so we are trying to figure that out, but talk to you soon!!! Love ya!!!
